
Changes at the Galleries
Visitors to the Galleries shopping centre in Washington will have noticed that the new developments are finally taking shape.
Extension work is continuing at the Sainsbury's entrance, the new entrance will be home to a set of new revolving doors to complete the new double height glass entrance.
Centre Manager Juliette Coard is delighted with the progress, she said; “We have had some fantastic feedback from our customers regarding the new look of the centre. It’s great to know that customers are happy with the improvements to their centre.”
Work has also commenced at the Lloyds Pharmacy South East entrance where shoppers will soon have access to a new double height glass entrance and new staircase.
The final section to of phase one will be the North Entrance this will commence this month. This entrance will be completed with a new rotating door and a double height entrance again giving the area a lot more space.
