In Shops Clean Up Thanks To Recycling
Congratulations go to the Washington based InShops this month thanks to their recycling.
InShops situated at the Galleries Shopping Centre have been awarded a £50 Galleries gift card as part of an incentive scheme introduced earlier this year to encourage tenants to utilise the recycling facilities available at the Galleries.
Environment and Compliance co-ordinator from the Galleries, Rozeta Sefaj, is delighted to hand over the well deserved winnings, she said;
The InShops were clear winners this month as they have made a significant contribution to the recycling scheme, recycling a large amount of cardboard along with other recyclable materials such as food waste and fluorescent tubes.
Rozeta added;
The InShops really have gone above and beyond their usual contributions by fully utilising the facilities available in order to get the most out of recycling and benefit their business.”
Vanessa Woods, Area Manager for In Shops puts winning down to the support and enthusiasm of her team, she said;
“It is great that we have been recognised for our recycling efforts. The new food waste recycling facility has worked very well for us especially our restaurants, also the restaurant staff were very happy to support us in this initiative and they were excited to help the centre and the environment becoming greener.
Vanessa added;
Anything that reduces waste being taken to landfill is a positive step. We will continue to do our best to recycle more we will also look forward to recycling more as more facilities become available.”
The tenant who stands out each month for their contribution to recycling will receive a £50 Galleries gift card.
